UPS Freight is authorized to provide PARS (Pre-Arrival Review System) and INPARS (Inland Pre-Arrival Review System), an advanced customs clearance process that allows shipments to be cleared immediately upon arrival at the border or a sufferance warehouse.

Shipments are cleared at the border crossing via the services of the shipper's customs broker, or they can continue in-bond to a designated customs clearance point within the U.S.

U.S. Delivery
After clearing customs, shipments are available for final delivery in the U.S.

Customs Clearance / Documentation
Some of the general documents required for basic customs clearance into Canada include the Canadian Customs Invoice, and the NAFTA Certificate of Origin. For specific inquiries relating to these documents or customs clearance, please contact the appropriate customs house broker.
