|As a large winter storm continues to blanket much of the United States with heavy snowfall and ice, UPS Freight's operations are being affected in many areas. Hazardous road conditions are preventing pickups and deliveries in various parts of the following states today, Friday, December 6, 2013:
In addition, icy roads and extremely cold temperatures are affecting service in parts of Alberta and Manitoba, Canada, today. Until conditions improve, customers in and around the cities of Calgary, Edmonton and Winnipeg may experience delays or disruptions in pickups and deliveries.
Road conditions in some areas are expected to change throughout the day as this weather system makes its way across the U.S. UPS Freight will continue to closely monitor the storm, adjust its operations accordingly, and update this service advisory as often as necessary.
