Technical Information for Web Developers
Corporate web developers who wish to access UPS Freight's Shipment Tracking from their own web applications can use the following information to establish direct links to shipment tracking information on UPS Freight's web site.
To see immediate results of what our tracking system returns, just paste
the links beginning with "http...." into the URL window of your browser
and hit enter.
Using the examples below it is possible to track UPS Freight shipments using UPS Freight's 9-digit PRO number, or customer-generated Bill of Lading or Purchase Order numbers.

To track by 9-digit PRO number:

(where 123456789 would be substituted with the appropriate 9-digit PRO number)
Note: use no spaces, letters, or other symbols in the PRO number
To track by Bill of Lading number: (maximum 15 digits)

(where 12345678901234 would be substituted with the customer's BL number)
Note: letters are OK; spaces must be held with a "+" (plus sign)
To track by Purchase Order number: (maximum 15 digits)
